Marana's Gladden Farms to add new housing development

Brookstone at Gladden Farms, a new development in the southeast of the town of Marana, is adding a new housing community.

The incoming housing development, which targets first time home buyers, is projected to add over eighty new homes with several different flooring plans. The various flooring plans range up to nearly three thousand square feet and begin at prices around $300. The new, environmentally friendly houses will all stand either one or two stories tall. 

Meritage Homes, which is overseeing the project, has already been known for its implementation of more high end features in houses aimed at new home owners. These range from kitchen islands, to granite countertops, home automation features and more.

“We offer several different floor plans that will appeal to families of all sizes and Gladden Farms is a beautiful, family-friendly community,” Jeff Grobstein, Brookstone Division president, told Tucson Inside Business.

On top of the amenities that come with the homes, the amenities of the neighborhood itself are expected to be a major coup for prospective buyers. The community is located near Marana's commercial district, and features family friendly perks including a dog park and community garden.

Brookstone at Gladden Farms will be opening its doors in April to give prospective home buyers an opportunity to tour the homes for themselves. The project is expected to be completed in May.
