MC Companies begins building community in Marana

The Tucson and Scottsdale based MC Companies has broken ground on a new development in the town of Marana.

The multifamily real estate investment company put the first shovel into the ground at The Place at Silverbell Gateway, which is a 300 unit development of luxury apartments in Marana. The official listed address is 7430 North Silverbell Road.

The result of the construction is expected to be a new community that features six different floor plans of over a thousand square feet each. Individual homes will come equipped with fancy new finishes such as hard surface flooring and granite countertops. Upon completion, the goal of the new development is to create a true rival to The Place at Riverwalk Apartments at Craycroft and River in Tucson in terms of the allure to buyers.

With the rapid growth of the town of Marana, MC Companies didn't hesitate to elucidate their excitement at joining the market.

In addition, an affiliate of MC Companies has recently broken ground on a separate new community in Tucson. A few months ago, Mason Ranch Apartments bought over sixteen acres of land on Tucson's North Bear Canyon Road for nearly $4.5 million. That purchase came out to be approximately $6.26 per square foot.
