The owners of a drive through convenience store that features dairy products are looking to expand by adding a whopping 50 new locations in the southern parts of Arizona.
Livia and Carlos Almandos, the Southern Arizona representatives of Farm Stores, recently said that they're seeking densely populated neighborhoods to open an array of new store locations. The Almandos, who live in Marana, say they're targeting Tucson to open their first new store- and that they want to be known as a popular family drive through spot. “We want families to be our main customers,” Livia Almando told Tucson.com in a recent interview. “We want to be your neighbor and provide personalized service.”
Discussions are currently ongoing as it pertains to getting their foot in the door with that first store in the Tucson area. Farm Stores has its eyes set on a currently vacant lot in the northwest corner of Tucson, and will move in there sometime early in 2022 pending the price negotiations.
Farm Stores, which began in Florida but has now spread across the country, has just eclipsed 70 stores nationwide. But that's nothing compared to what the company is planning moving forward. The company hopes to add up to 600 additional stores across the nation within the next decade.
