There is just something about golf.  It seems like one of those activities that you either love or hate. Interestingly enough, there is a golf destination in Marana centered on golf where you don't even have to like it to have a great time.  That place is TopGolf-Tucson (but don't worry, it's in Marana.)  TopGolf opened in Marana in 2017 at 4050 W. Costco Place, Tucson AZ 85741.There is only one TopGolf location in all of Tucson.

Topgolf Tucson is a three-story, 53,000-square-foot entertainment venue with a high-tech driving range and computerized golf games for all skill levels. Located in Marana (just east of Interstate 10), this is a popular year-round spot for birthday parties, date nights, and family weekend outings.

At Topgolf, they have made socializing a sport through a blend of technology and entertainment – and that’s just the game! If you journey through their venue on any given day, you’ll find a place buzzing with energy. There’s no pressure to have a good golf swing or score a lot of points. It’s all about everyone having fun. 

Topgolf features fun and competitive golf games, climate-controlled hitting bays for year-round comfort, a chef-inspired food and drink menu, private spaces for groups of any size, HDTVs to watch the big game and amazing music.

As for the golf game itself, this is more like a bowling alley or pinball arcade. For the game, each player pays a one-time fee of $5 and bay costs starting at $25/hr. You can bring your own clubs or use theirs. The more players per bay, the lower the total cost per individual.  Whether you have a mean swing or not, you just smack the ball towards the targets and the high tech balls take care of the scoring.

In addition to 70+ climate-controlled hitting bays for various party sizes, Topgolf also features a swanky bar, dine-in restaurant seating, pool tables, and a foosball table for those who don't care about golfing.
