A Bird’s Eye View of Saguaro National Park and Avra Valley: Foolish Pleasure

Think about what a raptor sees while flying over our Sonoran Desert.  Flora and Fauna from a whole different 
perspective.  With a little help from Foolish Pleasure Hot Air Balloon Rides, you can share that perspective with 
the hawks and eagles.

Flights launch at sunrise from various locations depending on available wind currents and conditions to give the best 
possible flight. Foolish Pleasure balloons fly the Tucson Mountains, Saguaro National Park West, and the Avra Valley 
area. After your flight, you will enjoy a complimentary celebrational brunch. You will also receive a pin of the balloon you flew in and photographs of your flight will be emailed to you.

The whole experience will take approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. Dress in layers; flights depart at sunrise. Long pants and 
close-toed shoes are required. Bring a camera and be prepared to have an adventure like you have never experienced! 
Foolish Pleasure also performs weddings and vow renewals! Gift certificates available for any occasion. Credit cards 
are accepted. 

During the flight, while floating over the beautiful Sonoran Desert, various species of desert wildlife are often seen, both 
on the ground and in the air.

Foolish Pleasure features two sizes of baskets:  the smaller basket will hold 4 people and has a leather bench seat that 
seats 2 people comfortably. Up to 6 people can fly comfortably in the larger basket.

Both balloons are FAA certified commercial aircraft and are inspected and maintained per Federal Aviation regulations. There is absolutely no smoking on board or near the balloons or motorized equipment.

Since safety is the primary concern, Foolish Pleasure cannot guarantee that a flight will take place on a specific date. Should your flight be canceled due to unfavorable weather, every effort will be made to reschedule on a convenient date.

Foolish Pleasure Hot Air Balloon Rides’ office is located at 8002 W Cortaro Farms Rd, Marana, AZ 85743, which 
puts it in the vicinity of the Oshrin Park, Quail Cove, Ranchitos Nortes, and Sunset Point neighborhoods of Marana. 
Keep in mind, though, that the flights start from one of several launch points around the area, not from the office.
