Sales, Rentals, Repairs and Group Bike Rides: HMS Bikes

HMS Bikes is an independent, family-owned bike shop. As cyclists who frequently ride through the areas of Dove Mountain, Gladden Farms, Picture Rocks, and Continental Ranch, the owners wanted to open a full-service bike shop in Marana, which was more conveniently located to these areas.

The HMS store maintains a reliable inventory of high quality bicycles for sale and for rent, as well as parts and accessories for all. They also offer cycling clothing, nutritional supplements for those long rides, and a full-service repair department.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of HMS Bikes for the purpose of this blog is their group rides. In their own words: “We keep these rides fun and welcoming for all levels of riders. Come join us for a fun bike ride this weekend. Call today for more information.”

All group rides will leave from and finish at HMS Bikes. Group rides start at 7:00 AM. The time listed is the time the riders will be leaving the shop. Please plan to be there with enough time to get all of your gear situated before the ride starts. Call in advance if you have any questions or want to join the cycling group.

The group rides are just that-an opportunity to go on a ride with friends or make new friends who enjoy the sport. Just because we are riding in a group does not make cycling less dangerous. HMS Bikes obviously cannot control the weather, the behavior of other cyclists, vehicles on the road, or road conditions.

Please keep alert and ride at a pace that you feel is safe. HMS Bikes is not responsible for your safety on these rides; each rider is reponsible for his or her own safety.
