This one may surprise you, but the Ignite Restaurant at Dove Mountain Resort offers Buffalo (properly named Bison) tacos. That in itself should bring you there for a visit. Add in the beautiful mountain scenery and occasional flute music, and you have nothing to lose.
Iginite is a sensory delight, fueled by stunning views, live music, the warmth of a fire pit and imaginative cocktails that taste like no other.
The resort's fire-themed lobby lounge is truly the heart of the hotel, a bustling hub where guests can enjoy an afternoon iced tea with lunch or superb classic cocktails and new concoctions served by an outgoing team of mixologists.
The gastro-pub fare is creative yet simple. Ignite also features an extensive array of smoky single malt scotches and whiskeys from around the world.
Ignite serves lunch and dinner. Food Service: 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Daily Beverage Service: 11 a.m. to close.
Daily Mixology Classes daily at 5 p.m. Sushi Bar and Sake available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Live Music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (weather permitting) Tailgating Experience every Sunday at 11 a.m. with chef specials and half price on draft beers.
Memorable views of nearby Wild Burro Canyon Indoor and outdoor seating Reservations are not required.
Being in the Northern Sonoran Desert, you would not think they would offer much in the way of sushi, but guess what? Ignite features very fresh sushi throughout the week. Margaritas of several styles also receive very positive ratings.
Comments very common in the online reviews for Ignite include how cozy and even sexy the ambiance is. And since they do not accept reservations, it is first come, first served.
